The sales team are devoted to listening to the needs of the market and provide feedback to the company to address these needs.

Tom Cellucci

Chief Administration Officer

Tom joined the company in February 2003, as Chief Administration Officer, which is based in Sydney. He comes to the Kong’s family with
17 years experience in the pet and aquarium industries, and was
formerly general manager of Pets International Pty Limited.

As a member of the Kong’s (Aust.) Pty Limited management team, Tom will oversees the administration and operational side of the business, which incorporates purchasing, distribution, marketing and customer service. We believe that Tom’s extensive skills in management and administration,
and his broad knowledge of the pet and aquarium industries will
help Kong’s develop in the future.


Jeffrey Lam


B. Bus., Grad. Dip. I.T., Grad. Dip. Mgt, CPA, JP
Chief Financial Officer

Jeffrey is a CPA with more than twelve years experience in senior finance and management roles in a diverse group of industries including servicing, retailing, manufacturing & wholesaling industries. Together with his administrative and financial background, Jeffrey has extensive experiences in IT, human resources and logistics. Jeffrey has been with the company since 1999, is on the board of management, and is responsible for all financial and administrative matters. He provides timely information to all the business units and helps them understand the financial impacts of their actions. He is seeking to transform his financial function from a support and administrative function to being a strategic function.

Kong's International have good rapport with their suppliers and bring
many new and innovative ideas to the market-place well before their competitors.


Diversity

Tapping into new markets requires a diversified skills base and the ability to research new topics.

Kong's International has realised the importance of having well-qualified staff and boasts staff to match
these needs.

For example one of our sales representatives has over 20 years experience in the garden industry and
has many contacts within this realm.

Another of our sales staff specialises in small animal husbandry including reptiles, guinea pigs, rabbits
and birds. With 30 years experience in the pet industry the knowledge is definitely there.

This is just a small indication of some of the expertise within our ranks.

 

The Future

With the phenomenal growth the company has already experienced one might find it difficult to grasp the concept of the future.

Warehouses are being outgrown and demand for new accounts is constant. Kong's International are only just beginning to realise the benefits of marketing and with producing their own product ranges under their own brand names they will take on new markets.
